KINDERGARTEN through 6TH GRADE
The USCS Vision for Elementary Students and Families:
The University Model School is a unique blend of traditional private education and
home education. Through USCS, parents will remain deeply involved in their child’s
day-to-day development while providing an excellent education. Within this model,
students will attend school twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) where they will
receive a full day of instruction. Our caring, professional teachers engage the
students with hands-on projects and creative field trips. Teachers grade all
assignments, quizzes, and tests, and provide progress reports and report cards for
each student throughout the year.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are home education days in which the parents
function as co-teachers, following the detailed lesson plans that USCS teachers
prepare.

USCS Elementary Class Schedule:
• Tuesday and Thursday (USCS In-class Days) 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (Home Education Days) You are free to set
your own schedule, as long as the lesson plans are followed and assignments are
